Partners in every sense of the word, John Littleton and Kate Vogel have been collaborating for over twenty years. They are internationally known for their Bag Series, colorful glass sculptures that resemble either groupings of bags or smaller bags fitted within a larger, more transparent bag.  John's father, Harvey Littleton, originated the studio-glass movement in the United States.  Kate Vogel was studying printmaking at the University of Wisconsin when she met John.  Following a trip to Murano Italy, Kate embraced glass.  John Littleton received his BSA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison after studying at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan.  Kate Vogel also received her BSA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison after studying at the Santa Reperata Graphic Center in Florence, Italy.
