Duane Reed Gallery is proud to announce the long-anticipated return of the Small Works Invitational. For the first time, our gallery held an open call to discover and welcome new talent, resulting in a record 160 works by 90 artists from the St. Louis regional area. With careers spanning from newly emerging to late-career luminaries, the show incorporates painting, sculpture, ceramic, textile, mixed media and more, each piece portrays its artist’s response to the Invitational’s signature prompt: work fitting within a 16” x 16” square.
