KYUNGMIN PARK

Kyungmin was born in South Korea and began studying ceramics while living in Seoul. She earned her B.F.A in 2006 from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and her M.F.A from the University of Georgia in 2012. After graduating from UGA, Kyungmin taught Ceramics at Auburn University until 2014. Kyungmin was a summer resident at the Bray in 2014 and returned in the winter as the 2015 Matsutani Fellow.

In 2015, Kyungmin was given the Emerging Artist Award from Ceramics Monthly. She was also nominated for the Joan Mitchell foundation grant. In 2016, she presented as an Emerging Artist at the National Council on Education for the Ceramics Arts in Kansas City.

Kyungmin is an Assistant Professor of 3D studio Art at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachussetts.
